Itinerary

 Day 1 Wednesday: Egypt
Welcome to Egypt, one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Arrive in Cairo meet and assist at the airport, transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure, over night at the Hotel.

Day 2 Thursday: Museum, Cairo tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will begin your day with a morning visit and guided tour of the Egyptian Museum where you will find artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of king Tutankhamun’s tomb. After the museum you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your tour to Moez Street where you will enjoy a guided visit to Bayt El Seheimy or El Seheimy which is one of the prominent houses in Cairo that dates back to the 18th century and is regarded as a perfect example for the style of decoration and designing at that time. Your tour continues to Sabeel Prince Al RohmanKotkhuda. This caravansary and school dates back to 1744 and is a good example of the combination of Mamluk and Ottoman styles of architecture. You will enjoy a walking tour of Moez Street where you can immerse yourself in the history of the Islamic culture. You will then be returned to your hotel to enjoy the rest of your day.

Day 3 Friday: Cairo / Aswan (B,L,D)
This morning after your breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan for a free afternoon to wander through the market, or you may choose our optional Abu Simbel tour, situated 280 km south of Aswan. Exploring the magnificent monuments carved into solid rock 3,000 years ago. In a monumental feat of modern engineering, these massive temples were moved to their present location when construction of the Aswan High Dam in 1960 created Lake Nasser and flooded their original location. This extraordinary operation to save one of the world`s greatest treasures took years and the efforts of an international team of engineers and archaeologists. The two temples at Abu Simbel were built by Egypt`s great Pharaoh Ramses II (Egypt`s longest-ruling king) as a tribute to the deities and his favorite wife Nefertari. Four colossal statues, 60 feet high and directly facing the rising sun, are of the pharaoh himself, with his queen and daughters at his feet. More tremendous statues surrounding you as you enter the temple. And in the very depths of the temple, Ramses sits in state flanked by the gods to whom the construction is dedicated. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be transferred to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 4-day/3-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Cabin with private facilities. Afternoon sail by Fellucca for an outside view  to the AghaKhanMoselium and Elephantine Island. Overnight on board.

Day 4 Saturday: Aswan/Kom-Ombo/Edfu (B,L,D)
After breakfast on board of the ship, you will enjoy a scenic drive to the Aswan High Dam where you will see how Egypt controls the river, and produces 1/3 of the electricity for Egypt. After taking a photo opportunity you will then board motor boat which will take you to the beautiful island of Philea and the temple of the great goddess Isis. On the return to your boat you will stop to see the unfinished obelisk still in the quarry and an essential oils factory. After lunch sailling to the town of Kom Ombo. Under the late afternoon sun you will walk to this special double temple (Kom Ombo) dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. This evening you will enjoy a special Gallabia Dinner and Party where staff and guests will dress in the traditional Egyptian dress. During this time the boat sails to Edfu. You will stay overnight in Edfu.

Day 5 Sunday: Edfu , Luxor (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will board your magical horse carriage  to visit the wonderful temple dedicated to the falcon headed god Horus, then you will enjoy a late morning sail to Luxor via the Esna Locks. Upon arrival to Luxor and after your afternoon tea you will Visit Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple.

Day 6 Monday: Luxor West bank (B,D)

 Early morning views the magnificence of Luxor west bank that includes the valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple along with Colossi of Memnon. Visit the UNESCO listed valley of Kings the necropolis of Thebes and admire the tombs of ancient Egypt’s rulers. Then visit Hatshepsut temple a colonnaded structure surround by cliffs and learn about her life, Egypt’s longest reigning female ruler, then visit the alabaster factory. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight Cairo upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 Tuesday: Pyramids, Saqqara (B,L,D)
This morning you will visit the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Pyramids and Sphinx Temple Complex. The largest among the six pyramids stands the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Standing 480 feet tall this pyramid is unique in that it is based on the number 5, and its top points directly to the middle star in the constellation Orion’s belt. After visiting these fabulous monuments you will travel on to see the inscrutable and mysterious Sphinx Temple. After lunch at the Saqqara Restaurant, continue to Saqqara and the Temple of the Sun. The Saqqara plateau continuously provides many discoveries for Egyptologists such as the Sarapium, where mummified bulls were placed in huge sarcophagi, or tombs indicating royal births. Each discovery has a fascinating story, with many adventures for the archaeologists as they reveal the secrets of the past. In the evening you will enjoy the famous Sound and Light show displayed at the Giza Pyramids and inaugurated in April of 1961. With the narrative voice of the late Richard Burton, magnificent sound and lighting effects, the show begins with the narrative of the Sphinx, who has been the guardian of the city of the dead for five thousand years. Overseeing the building of the three pyramids, the Sphinx reflects on the historical contributions of Thutmosis IV, Akhenaton, Nefertiti and Tutankhamen, back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8 Wednesday: Cairo - departure (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted and transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Tel aviv. Welcome to the Holy Land, meet and assist and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9, Thursday - Caesarea, Galilee
Begin your pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a drive northward along the Mediterranean and old coastal road. The first stop will be the ruins of Caesarea Maritima, built by Herod and where Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate, based his seat of government. This is also where Cornelius lived and was baptized (Acts 10); where Paul embarked to Tarsus (Acts 9.30) and where Phillip preached (Acts 8.40). Then travel north and ascend Mt. Carmel to view the Carmelite Monastery, the "Place of Sacrifice" where the Prophet Elijah had an encounter with the Priests of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-40). Admire panoramic views of the Jezreel Valley, also known as the Valley of Armageddon, viewing Megiddo, one of King Solomon's walled, fortified cities, with the ruins of 20 levels of civilization. Continue along the pastoral hills of Galilee to Mt. Precipice, to the town of Nazareth, the hill country of Galilee where Jesus grew to manhood (Matt. 2:23). Here, visit the Church of the Annunciation, before proceeding to your hotel for overnight

DAY 10, Friday - Day in the Galilee Region
This morning, visit Banias, one of the sources of the River Jordan and the site of ancient Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his confession of faith in Christ (Matt.16.16). Continue on to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached His famous "Sermon on the Mount" (Matt 5). From here, travel to Capernaum, the town where Jesus chose His first disciples among the humble local fisherman. You will view the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshiped (Mark 1:21, Luke 4.31). The day continues with a lunch stop at St. Peter's Restaurant before you venture towards Tabgha, the sight of the multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes (John 6). At Ginosar, stop to see the famous "Jesus Boat", an archaeological treasure recovered from the waters of the Galilee, dating back to the first century. You will have the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, before driving back to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 11, Friday - Yardenit Baptismal Site, Beit She’an, Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Garden Tomb
Another spiritually enriching day begins at the headwaters of the Jordan River, the Yardenit, where Christian visitors come to renew their faith with a traditional Baptism. Continue southward to the remarkable ruins of Beit She’an, a city mentioned in the Bible, later a Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine city which was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 AD. It was here that the Philistines hung the bodies of Saul and his sons on the walls of Beit She’an (1 Sam 31:10-12). Walk through the incredible excavations of the largest ongoing archaeological dig in the land of Israel, with its amphitheater, colonnaded Roman streets, mosaics and Roman bathhouse. Proceed south toward Judea, through the lush Jordan Valley passing by the ancient city of Jericho. Arrive at the Holy City of Jerusalem for observation of the city from the Mount of Olives with its panoramic view of the entire Old City. Tracing the footsteps of Jesus, view part of the Palm Sunday route on the way to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. End the day just outside the city walls with a visit to the Garden Tomb, first identified in 1849. A rock formation resembles a skull (Golgotha) and the site accords with the biblical data of the area where Jesus was buried. Arrive at the hotel in time for dinner.

DAY 12, Saturday - Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jewish Quarter, Bethlehem
Start the day by visiting Western Wall Tunnels, which stretch along the Western Wall of the Temple Mount. Visit the Pool of Bethesda and the Crusader Church of Saint Anne and walk under Ecce Homo Arch, built by Hadrian in 135 AD. Then retrace the steps of Jesus with a walk along the Via Dolorosa before reaching the final station of the Cross at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Enter the Jewish Quarter and the Cardo of the Old City. This afternoon, take a short drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, built over the cave of Christ's birth, as well as Shepherd's Field and the plains of Boaz, and the Milk Grotto church. Finally visit one of the famous Bethlehem gift shops before returning to the hotel.

DAY 13, Sunday - Israel Museum, Yad Vashem
Begin the day with a drive by the Knesset and the Big Menorah, symbols of the State of Israel. Next visit the Shrine of the Book at Israel Museum, where some of the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. See the Model City, a 1:50 scale model of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus. This afternoon, continue to Mt. Zion to visit the House of Caiaphas the high priest, where Jesus was interrogated the night of His betrayal (Mark 14.53-65). You will also visit the King David Tomb and the Upper Room, the traditional location of the Last Supper. return to the hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 14, Monday - Day in dead sea & Jerusalem
After breakfast at the hotel,  we will drive to the dead see to enjoy the swimming, then return back to Jerusalem to visit once more the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, then return to the hotel.
