Itinerary
Day 1- Sunday, Arrival:
Welcome to Egypt, one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Arrive in Cairo meet and assist at the airport, the proceed to Old Cairo to visit the famed Hanging Church, a place of Orthodox worship and one of the oldest churches in Egypt. The church’s roof is built of timber to resemble the interior of Noah’s Ark. Next, see Abu Serga, known formally as Saints Sergius Church. This place has great significance as it is believed to be the spot where the Holy Family spent time during their journey in Egypt. Continue towards Ben Ezra synagogue, which is the reputed location of Moses, transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure, over night at the Hotel.

Day 2 - Monday, Cairo: Egyptian Museum, the Great Pyramids (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will begin your day with a morning visit and guided tour of the Egyptian Museum where you will find artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of king Tutankhamun’s tomb. After the museum you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to visit the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Pyramids and Sphinx Temple Complex. The largest among the six pyramids stands the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Standing 480 feet tall this pyramid is unique in that it is based on the number 5, and its top points directly to the middle star in the constellation Orion’s belt. After visiting these fabulous monuments, you will travel on to see the inscrutable and mysterious Sphinx Temple.

Day 3 - Tuesday, St. Catherine (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we have an early start to drive to Saint Catherine city in the peninsula of Sinai via the Suez Canal. This morning we will drive across the eastern desert almost the same route followed by the Israelites during the Exodus. we will be viewing some biblical sites along the way after crossing the Suez canal, including a Stop at the springs of Moses, which is believed to be The biblical site Elim, where there were 12 springs ( Ex.15:27 ) . After a short drive, we will pass by the oasis where the Israelites got the Quail and Manna (Ex.16:4). Then we stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the middle of the desert of Sinai. After the lunch break, we keep driving and we will view another biblical site, the site of Rephidim, (Ex.17:1). Then we travel for about 40 km.to make it to Saint Catherine's city where mount Horeb, the mountain of God is located (Ex 19:3). we will check in our Hotel in Saint Catherine's city.

Day 4 - Wednesday, St. Catherine - Taba (B,L)
Start our tour to climb mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments and Book of the Covenant. To climb up mount Sinai, we will start very early in the morning around 1:00 am. as the round trip may take 7 hours. After coming down from the mountain, we will have a chance to freshen up and have our breakfast before we check out from the Hotel to travel to the border city of Taba where we cross from Egypt to continue our pilgrimage through the Holy land.
