Itinerary:

Avatar Travel tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and drive you to the south to start your Great Pyramid Tour of Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt holds many famous Pyramids of king snefru. The site is about 40 km from Cairo. Move on to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, before moving on to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. Continue on to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chefren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chefren.  DAY 01 – CAIRO / ARRIVAL:
Welcome to Egypt, one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. Arrive in Cairo meet and assist at the airport, transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure, over night at the Hotel.

Day 2 - Cairo (B,L) Museum - Cairo tour:
After breakfast After breakfast you will begin your day with a morning visit and guided tour of the Egyptian Museum where you will find artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of king Tutankhamun’s tomb. After the museum you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your tour to Moez Street where you will enjoy a guided visit to Bayt El Seheimy or El Seheimy which is one of the prominent houses in Cairo that dates back to the 18th century and is regarded as a perfect example for the style of decoration and designing at that time. Your tour continues to Sabeel Prince Al Rohman Kotkhuda. This caravansary and school dates back to 1744 and is a good example of the combination of Mameluke and Ottoman styles of architecture. You will enjoy a walking tour of Moez Street where you can immerse yourself in the history of the Islamic culture. You will then be returned to your hotel to enjoy the rest of your day.

DAY 3 - Cairo - (B, L) Pyramids, Saqqara:
This morning you will visit the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Pyramids and Sphinx Temple Complex. The largest among the six pyramids stands the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Standing 480 feet tall this pyramid is unique in that it is based on the number 5, and its top points directly to the middle star in the constellation Orion’s belt. After visiting these fabulous monuments you will travel on to see the inscrutable and mysterious Sphinx Temple. After lunch at the Saqqara Restaurant, continue to Saqqara and the Temple of the Sun. The Saqqara plateau continuously provides many discoveries for Egyptologists such as the Sarapium, where mummified bulls were placed in huge sarcophagi, or tombs indicating royal births. Each discovery has a fascinating story, with many adventures for the archaeologists as they reveal the secrets of the past. In the evening you will enjoy the famous Sound and Light show displayed at the Giza Pyramids and inaugurated in April of 1961. With the narrative voice of the late Richard Burton, magnificent sound and lighting effects, the show begins with the narrative of the Sphinx, who has been the guardian of the city of the dead for five thousand years. Overseeing the building of the three pyramids, the Sphinx reflects on the historical contributions of Thutmosis IV, Akhenaton, Nefertiti and Tutankhamen, back to your hotel for overnight.

Start the day by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge return to the Hotel.

MONDAY DAY 3 - TOUR TO VISIT TEL BASTA & BELBIS
Today start the Holy Family journey in Egypt, we drive to visit Tel Basta City there Jesus gushed forth a spring of water to drink, you will visit the holy well then you will visit Belbeis city, the Holy Family rested there in the shade of a tree at it is now at Saint George Church which you will visit and then back to Cairo.

WEDNESDAY DAY 5 - TOUR TO WADI NATRUN
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then start trip to visit Wadi Natrun, Prized by the ancient Egyptians as a source of the salt deposit Natron, a vital ingredient in the mummification process, this remote valley just west of the Delta region was later equally valued by the early Christians as a hiding place from persecution by the Romans. Initially they sheltered in caves, later building monasteries, of which four remain today. Each monastery has a full complement of monks and three of the monasteries welcome visitors. Begin your trip with Deir al-Baramous then proceeds to Deir Anba Bishoy who body is still there then visit Abu Makar Monastery and end your trip with Deir El- Suryani. Today we visit the churches of Coptic Cairo, start by the Hanging Church and the Church of St.Sergius , Sunk below street level, this 5th-century church is Egypt’s oldest. Steps descend to a crypt where the Holy Family is supposed to have taken shelter. then continue to see the Church of St. George as well as the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo. Lunch at local restaurant. Then proceeds to visit the Church of Holy Virgin Mary at Maadi area where is the Holy Family had passed by that place of the Church. Back to your hotel.

FRIDAY DAY 7 TO EL MINYA CITY- VIRGIN MARY MONASTERY AT THE MOUNTAIN OF AL TEIR
Enjoy the Holy Family trip to south Egypt, The Holy family traveled in a boat on the Nile toward the south. Today you travel to south to El Minya City about 4 hours driving on the way stop by the Monastery of Virgin Mary in Beni seuf City where is the holy family first stop, then continue driving to El  Minya city upon arrival visit the Monastery of virgin Mary at the mountain of Al Teir. Then transfer to your hotel in Minya city and overnight.

SATURDAY DAY 8 - TO ASSIUT CITY - MONASTERY OF THE HOLY VIRGIN MARY
After Breakfast, drive through countryside to arrive to Assiut to visit Drunka monastery located on the west bank of the Nile is not only one of the most unusual monasteries in Egypt, but is also believed to have been one of the last destinations visited by the Holy Family on their journey through Egypt. Believe that Assuit was as far south as the Holy Family, Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Joseph got before leaving Egypt for Nazareth. Since that time, monks of the monastery believe that this area has been constantly inhabited by Christians. Indeed, the this area of Egypt has traditionally been heavily populated by the Egyptians. Then visit Moharaq Monastery The original in the naming of Al-Muharraq monastery, is that it was near to an area, where harmful plants and weeds are burned, and so the whole region was known as "burnt" and with time, it was settled for the Holy Virgin Mary Monastery - at Al-Muharraq (the burnt) area., the both monasteries were blessed by the visit of the holy family, continue drive to Abydous.

Sunday Day 9 - ABydous
Today you will visit the temple of ABydous the memorial temple of Seti I, which contains an inscription from the nineteenth dynasty known to the modern world as the Abydos King List. It is a chronological list showing cartouches of most dynastic pharaohs of Egypt from Menes until Seti I's father, Ramesses II, then drive to visit Dendera Temple, one of the best preserved temple complexes in Egypt, located on the west bank of the Nile, approximately 40 miles away from Luxor. Explore the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to the wife of god Horus. Marvel at the spectacular ceiling painting in the main hall, displaying stars, planets, and symbols of the Roman zodiac. The colors seen throughout the temple complex are original, and amazingly vibrant. Visit the temple crypt, and climb the staircase up to the roof, learning about Egypt’s Ptolemaic period along the way. Free time to explore the temple complex at leisure, before returning to Luxor.
